Little brother

Turns out I'm going to have a little brother in December....I'm so excited!!!












































Here he is flexing his huge biceps. My parents said that's how the doctor knew it was a boy :o)

Frio River

We went on our annual Frio River trip this summer....it was so much more fun than last year. I wasn't feeling very good this year because I just happened to be getting my K9s the very same week we were there. So needless to say, there was a lot of grumpiness and sleepless nights at the river this year. It was also my Nana and Papa's 40th anniversary luau party while we were there...Happy Anniversary!!!

When I wasn't grumpy or sleeping, I played in the river...mostly stacking and throwing rocks at the other kids who were trying to cramp my space :o)
















I was exhausted on the ride home....daddy gave my a "chew toy" and I quickly passed out :o)

Donuts with dad

On Father's Day weekend, I had "Donuts with Dad"!! It was my very first experience with donuts...and let me just tell you these things were the best invention ever!!! Why didn't anyone tell me that these delicious nuggets of sugar and bliss existed??

Pool and sprinkler time!!

Have I told you how much I love summer time sprinkler fun and pool time?? It's been about 100 degrees here on average, so it's nice to cool off in the water!

Animal noises

So I started talking the past few months....I know, I know, I'm an incredible author but for some reason it's a lot harder to get words out verbally :o) Anyways, I can both speak and sign now!! I sign "more", "all done", "milk", and "please". I also say more (which sounds like mama but with a high pitched "ma" at the end), bye-bye, all done, no, mine, dada, papa, nana, mimi, nose, eyes, ears, mouth, shoes (which sounds like choo), pup pup, kitty, Ike, night night (which sounds like ni-ni), baby, light....and so much more!!! My favorite sentence is "Whoa....what's that?"

I also love making animal noises. So far I know cow, sheep, monkey, horse, and fish (it's not really a noise, as much as puckering my lips like a fish)!!




And no, that was not mommy laughing in the background. It was actually my Aunt Kori....when mommy and Aunt Kori get together it's like two laughing hyenas in surround sound with these two!!!

Guess what??

Well, I had a long heart to heart talk with my parents about how bored I am playing by myself. So...guess what....I'm going to be a big sister!!!! Mommy and Daddy found out about the little bell pepper (that's how big the baby is right now) Easter weekend. Mommy is about 4 and a half months along right now and I get to meet my baby brother or sister around the 6th of December!!!
