Animal noises

So I started talking the past few months....I know, I know, I'm an incredible author but for some reason it's a lot harder to get words out verbally :o) Anyways, I can both speak and sign now!! I sign "more", "all done", "milk", and "please". I also say more (which sounds like mama but with a high pitched "ma" at the end), bye-bye, all done, no, mine, dada, papa, nana, mimi, nose, eyes, ears, mouth, shoes (which sounds like choo), pup pup, kitty, Ike, night night (which sounds like ni-ni), baby, light....and so much more!!! My favorite sentence is "Whoa....what's that?"

I also love making animal noises. So far I know cow, sheep, monkey, horse, and fish (it's not really a noise, as much as puckering my lips like a fish)!!

And no, that was not mommy laughing in the background. It was actually my Aunt Kori....when mommy and Aunt Kori get together it's like two laughing hyenas in surround sound with these two!!!

Guess what??

Well, I had a long heart to heart talk with my parents about how bored I am playing by myself. So...guess what....I'm going to be a big sister!!!! Mommy and Daddy found out about the little bell pepper (that's how big the baby is right now) Easter weekend. Mommy is about 4 and a half months along right now and I get to meet my baby brother or sister around the 6th of December!!!

Play date with Hudson and Cailin

It's been such a long time since we've had a play date, but our parents finally put some time aside for us so we could all hang out together. I think our last play date we had together, Cailin and I were trying to crawl and Hudson thought we were super lazy and boring. Oh, how the times have changed!

Daddy read some books to Cailin and I....let's just say that for some odd reason, Cailin wasn't Daddy's biggest fans.

Hudson on the other hand LOVED when Daddy read to him! Hudson....you're so dreamy!!!

When we were driving home, mommy and daddy thought I'd fall right to sleep....boy were they wrong!! Tebow was the one that passed out after a long day of playing with Cailin's pup pups. I on the other hand like to chill-ax in my car seat :o)

Dancing & Wrestling are my two favortie things!!

What can I say? White girls can dance too!

I didn't say I had rhythm, but I do LOVE to dance....my favorite types of music are hip hop and country, but I've also been known to cut a rug to Enter Sandman by Metallica. My absolute favorite song is "Ladies Night" though!

I also LOVE wrestle mania with daddy...it's so much fun!!!

Rockin' arts and crafts

I love my arts and crafts table....I'm a very talented artist and color some pretty fantastic pictures. My artistic flare is a bit eclectic and unique, so I don't color between the lines (which my cousin Alexia prays that I learn how to do some day).

I also love my rocking chair that Nana and Papa gave me for my birthday. My parents call me the Daredevil because I don't so much "sit" in the rocking chair....I like to stand and rock until the chair almost falls over.

Man I look chubby in this picture....I'm pretty sure I'm making a poopy though....hence the red concentrated look on my face.

And just an update....I did finally break the 20 lb mark for the forward facing car seat! At my 15 month checkup...which really was a 16 month check up, I weighed a whopping 20.8 lbs! I'm still pretty petite but I've been moved to the 20th percentile (recall I was in the 6th percentile at my 12 month check up). My mom says it's because I'm so active and am too busy to eat. I'll grab a bite from mommy, then run around for 5 minutes....then I'll grab another bite and run around again. Most of the time I do what I call "drive by eating".

Extra videos

Here's the actual video of me hunting for Easter eggs. Well, one of the videos (the video I wanted to post was too long so I posted the shorter video). Mom and dad wanted to hide them outside, but there was a torrential down pour right when I was supposed to look for the Easter eggs. It was still fun though!

I promise I got the hang of finding the eggs and putting them in the basket (that was the longer video I couldn't post). Crazy how I like marshmallows, huh? Since that was one of my mom's only cravings when I was in her belly.

Here's a video from the park. I love the riding toys (the dolphin's my favorite)! Mom and dad didn't get a good video of me on dolphin though so I'll have to remind them and post one later. I'm still unsure of riding down the slide...and I definitely don't like it when Tebow goes down the slide!!

Time to play catch up!!

Well, it's been quite a while since I've updated the blog, so I'll play a little bit of catch up :o) I've just been so busy with day care and all my new friends....buddies....home-dogs. I'm down to one nap at day care, so by the time I get home, I'm absolutely exhausted and want to go "ni-ni" as I call it now (I'll talk more about that later!)
So much has happened since I turned the big O-N-E!! I'm a much better walker, talker, and signer than the last post....actually I don't walk too much now.....I run! My mom keeps saying that I'm just like daddy...I never sit still. My hair is also getting longer and curlier by the day!

I spent the weekend at my Aunt Melanie and Uncle Jeff's. I didn't feel too good that weekend, but Uncle Jeff's boys loved to play with me anyways :o)

I love going to the park too!!!

We had a bunch of family over for Easter and I got to go Easter egg hunting which was tons of fun!!!

Mimi and Papa came to visit and took tons of pictures!

I also got to play with Grayson, one of Mimi's friends' son...we're only a couple of weeks apart!
