Lilypie Third Birthday tickers

First Day of school!!!

Well, today is the first day of school for both mommy and myself. We're pretty nervous, but everyone always loves us, so we're pretty confident that we'll make friends pretty fast :o) I of course wore UT outfits the first 2 days of school since we were playing Ohio State that night (and beat them, so I had to give another shout out to UT on Tuesday) The rest of the week I wore Gator outfits to show my Florida spirit for the National title game (who also won with a victory over the stupid boomer sooners).

Mom and dad both dropped me off on my first day....man were they weenies!!! They kept standing around asking questions and said bye to me like 500 times. Seriously, they were embarrassing me in front of my new friends!!! Finally I just had to wave bye-bye to them, start eating my breakfast and start a conversation with my new classmates so mom and dad would actually leave!!!

It's taken some time to get used to daycare. Not separation issues, but the transition from 2 two hour naps a day where I slept all by myself in a quiet room in my crib, to one nap a day with a bunch of kids on a mat on the floor. It's taken about a month, but I'm finally napping for 2 hours! (At first the teachers would lay me down on my mat, I would quickly get up, crawl around, play with some toys for another 45 minutes, then finally be so wore out that I would finally fall asleep.)

Walking with assistance

I'm walking around all over the place....as long as someone holds my hand or I have my push along toy!! I'll stand on my own as well, but once I realize that I'm not holding on to anything, I usually get scared and sit back down :o) This whole "walking thing" is scary!

More Christmas pics!

Here we are walking around my Nana and Papaw's "Griswold Christmas" decorated neighborhood. I liked the big bubble machines in the neighbor's yard the best!!!

Christmas!!!

It's Christmas, it's Christmas!! First of all, let me start by saying that we tried to see Santa several times at the mall and he was very busy. We waited in line for an hour and half and then Santa decided to break for an hour for lunch! I wanted to tell him, "ummm...you work 1 day a year....I don't think Santa should take breaks!" But my mom said that was rude, so we left the mall very disappointed and we still had no Santa picture for my first Christmas. Well, lo and behold, Santa (my parents were calling him Jeff for some reason :) came to my Nana and Papaw's house on Christmas Eve! It was awesome...and no, I didn't even cry!!! Mrs. Claus came too, I must be very special!!!

But before I met Santa, I insisted on opening my Christmas Eve present so I could be all dressed up for him!

See...now we match!!

Wait...who are you again??

Let it snow!

Well, I woke up this morning to a beautiful layer of white!

It actually snowed last night, but I slept right through it.

Tebow McCoy didn't really like the snow at first...he would just stand there and bark at it. But he finally adjusted and loved playing in the snow :o)

Luckily, when I woke up all the snow hadn't melted yet, so I was able to enjoy my very first snowy winter day!!!
