I sound absolutely horrible today. I'm very congested and wheezing a bit :( Who gets a cold in May?? But I'm going to push through it and not let it ruin my day...."Not gonna let it hold me down...oh no, I've got to keep on moving!" My daddy teaches me a lot of rap lyrics, he's a big sponge and remembers the words to pretty much every song :o)
I hope I get his memory and intelligence....but at least I got my mommy's devastatingly good looks, so I think I'm doing pretty good!

My Mimi babysat me most of the day while mommy and daddy walked around the neighborhood and then went to the beach. They were going to take me, but I just wasn't feeling up to it today.

Then Aunt Jenne, Uncle Anthony, Austin, and Alexia came over for dinner. They're so much fun!! I was in a much better mood today than I was last night, so we were able to visit more!

Here we are chillin' out watching cartoons. "Who lives in a pineapple under the sea?? Sponge Bob Square Pants!"

May 7th, 2008

Today we're leaving Port Charlotte to drive back up to St. Pete to stay with Florida Mimi and Papa...as well as visit with Aunt Jenne, Uncle Anthony, Austin, and Alexia.

On the way out, we stopped by my Grandpa's work...he's a fireman, so I got to take pictures by the big red fire truck! I'm going to miss him so much :(

"We didn't start the fire, no we didn't light it, but we tried to fight it!"






































































By the time we got to St. Pete, I didn't feel good and was coming down with my very first cold. I didn't eat much and slept a lot the rest of day and all night.

May 5th, 2008

Happy Cinco de Mayo!!! I know, a bilingual 3 month old is pretty amazing if I might say so myself :o)

My Uncle Tony and Lauren watched me in the morning while my parents went on Grandpa's boat. Hmmm....I think I'm starting to see a trend of some sort....I'm getting baby sat an awful lot. Either my parents are getting tired of me or everyone wants to baby sit and my parents are trying to be unselfish...I'm going to believe the latter!! My parents told me they saw a school of dolphins jumping in front of the boat and they saw TONS of gators as well!

I went swimming in Uncle Tony's pool...I didn't like it too much so I just sat by the pool to get my tan on instead.

I'm gonna knock you out....momma said knock you out....


















Then I played with and rode Lauren's dog Duke...I loved him. My parents say they're going to buy me one for my first birthday...I'm so spoiled!

May 4th, 2008

Today's my big party day!! Can you believe it?? A party just for me?? So of course I had to dress up for the special occasion! I met even more family and friends that live here...it was awesome! And I got presents and cake as well...but my mommy said I couldn't have any cake until my first birthday!! I know...she's so mean!!!

Guess who found their thumb!!!

See, I'll show you!!























I wish my Mamaw and Papaw could've stayed longer :o( Hopefully they'll come visit us in Houston sometime soon though and they can have me all to themselves!!

Today my Aunt Jenne is babysitting me while my mommy and daddy fly in Papa's Cessna airplane. Daddy told me he used to fly planes back in the day, so Papa let him do the take off!!


































































They flew over Clearwater and St. Petersburg, Florida where Mimi and Alexia were on the beach taking pictures of them.

When they got back, we all played together for a while, then mommy, daddy, and I drove down to Port Charlotte where daddy grew up. We first visited with my Grandpa and Brenda
















and then I finally got to meet my Mamaw...I've heard so much about my Mamaw and Papaw!! I only got to spend 1 day with them, I wish they could have stayed longer :o(

I also got to meet my hot Uncle Tony, his girlfriend Lauren, and his kids Mykelli, and Gage....it was so nice to meet so many new family members!! Uncle Tony and Lauren have a pool and they live on a canal. Two gators live in the canal behind the house, so this was the very first time I've seen a gator...it was pretty scary!!

My Mamaw and Papaw watched me that night so my parents could meet up with friends.

Today I took my very first airplane ride out of the great state of Texas to visit my family in Florida. I was such a good girl and only cried a total of 1 minute!!! I slept most of the way and ate during the decent, but I'm pretty sure a lot of my mommy's friends told her what to do so that I wouldn't be fussy :o) Thanks Gretchen...my mommy and daddy really appreciated your advice. And tell your boy Hudson "word up"...he sure is a looker!

Here's a picture of my cousins Austin, Alexia and me (Alexia calls me Maggie Moo and I call her Lexi Lou), we were so excited to finally meet each other! She made fun of me for a while for not having any teeth, but I forgave her! And Austin made me some very pretty artwork!

Yesterday was a very big day for me!! First of all, I slept from 9pm to 7:45am....I felt so refreshed and rejuvenated!! Then my mommy and I went to lunch with my Aunt Bou (Aunt Kori) and some friends at Nordstroms in the Galleria. This was a very special occasion, so I asked my mom if I could wear my new Ralph Lauren tennis outfit (thanks Mary Kay!!) I was so cute...and Mary Kay, I promise not to take after your daughter and steal a golf cart, then drive into a pond behind your house...at least not in this outfit :o)



































The Galleria is very fancy so I fit in quite well in my high end outfit! I was just looking at everybody and was amazed at how nice everything was! I mean, people actually had blouses on instead of cut off shirts and...no lie....people had SHOES on!! This was so different than the Wal-Mart where we usually go shopping!!! Granted, I did spy one woman wearing socks with her open toed sandals, so I let her know what a fashion faux pas it was!!!

After our trip downtown to visit my Aunt Bou, my other Auntie (Aunt Melanie) came over after work to play with me. Sometimes I just can't get over how popular I am!!! She even brought me a present!! We played together, I talked to her...she was so much fun!!! Both my aunts fed me a bottle today...it was nice. Of course I tried to nurse on both of them, but they wouldn't let me. I know, I thought it was rude too, but I got over it.
